dcbel officially discloses US $40M financing led by Coatue

CPE News (4/15/2021) – dcbel has officially disclosed a US $40 million funding led by Coatue Management, LLC with participation of Narrative Fund, SNR VC, Real Ventures, WTI, and others. The financing closed in 2020.

In connection with the financing, Coatue’s Jaimin Rangwalla and Narrative’s Erik Blachford, have joined dcbel board of directors.

dcbel’s AI-driven sustainable technologies enable people to leverage solar energy to power their cars, their homes and their lifestyles. dcbel’s r16 is an EV supercharging, blackout power, and solar charging all rolled into one smart home appliance.

Founded by Marc-André Forget and Dan Fletcher, dcbel has previously closed a round financing with Real Ventures and others.

dcbel also lists Vy Capital/Vy Global Growth, a blank check company, as one of its investors.
