Mueller Industries, Inc. (NYSE: MLI) has acquired Die-Mold Tool Limited, effective March 31, 2018. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Georgetown, Ontario based Die-Mold Tool is a manufacturer of plastic PEX and other plumbing related fittings and an integrated designer and manufacturer of plastic injection tooling.
This acquisition supports Mueller’s strategy to grow and strengthen its flow control product offerings in the area of pressure plastics.
Memphis, Tennessee based Mueller Industries is an industrial manufacturer that specializes in copper and copper alloy manufacturing, while also producing goods made from aluminum, steel, and plastics. It is headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee and is comprised of a network of operations in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Great Britain, South Korea, and China.
