Power Energy acquires Virgo backed Nautilus Solar Energy

Power Energy Corporation, a subsidiary of Power Corporation of Canada (TSX: POW), has acquired 100% of Nautilus Solar Energy, LLC from management shareholders and minority shareholder Virgo Investment Group. Financial terms were not disclosed

Founded in 2006, Summit, New Jersey based Nautilus has developed, financed, constructed and/or managed a 126 megawatts of distributed generation assets throughout the United States and Canada.

Nautilus Solar Energy will continue to be led by current management team led by Jim Rice and Laura Stern as co-CEOs and Jeffrey Cheng as President.

Nautilus Solar Energy will continue to manage the solar portfolio developed with Virgo Investment Group which acquired a minority stake in Nautilus in 2015.
