CPE Media News (2/5/2019) – VERTU Capital has acquired Firmex from Novacap. Financial terms were not disclosed. The investment was made in partnership with BDC Capital Growth Equity and Firmex executive management team led by co-founder & CEO Joel Lessem.

In 2016, Novacap TMT IV, in partnership with Lessem, acquired Firmex.

Toronto based Firmex is a global provider of virtual data room and secure document sharing solutions.

Debt financing was provided by the Bank of Montreal.
