Whitney Rockley, co-founder and Managing Partner of McRock Capital, has been named as new Chair of the Canadian Venture Capital & Private Equity Association (CVCA).
Whitney, replacing Dave Mullen, becomes the first female Chair of CVCA since its inception in 1974.

Co-founded by Whitney and Scott MacDonald, Toronto based McRock Capital manages the first dedicated Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) venture capital fund focused on the intersection of sensors and software in large industrial markets. Its backers include BDC Capital, EDC, Teralys Capital, Alberta Enterprise, HarbourVest, Kensington Capital Partners, Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, Cisco Systems, Électricité de France (EDF), Caterpillar, and Canadian family offices.
