ECi Software Solutions, a portfolio company of Apax Partners and The Carlyle Group (NASDAQ: CG), has acquired Kingston, Ontario based PrintFleet Inc. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Founded in 2003 by Brian Cosgrove, PrintFleet specializes in the development of data-driven device management and assessment software solutions, as well as training, business development and support programs for dealers, distributors and manufacturers in the imaging industry.
Chris McFarlane will continue to serve as President of PrintFleet within ECi’s Field Service Division.
Fort Worth, Texas based ECi Software Solutions is a provider of enterprise resource planning (ERP) software solutions to small- and medium-sized businesses (SMB) across the distribution, field services, building and construction and manufacturing industries.
In 2017, Apax Partners acquired ECi Software Solutions from The Carlyle Group and Level Equity and combined the Macola, JobBOSS and MAX businesses of its portfolio company Exact Software with ECi. Carlyle retained a minority ownership position in the combined company.
