CPE Media News (5/27/2019) – OCR Canada Ltd., the Canadian subsidiary of Chicago based Barcodes Group, has acquired Multisource Group from owner Don Hartwick, effective May 17th, 2019. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Calgary based Multisource Group is a Western Canada based company providing end-to-end barcode and RFID data collection solutions.
Multisource Group is the second acquisition by OCR Canada in 2019. OCR Canada acquired Montreal based QSG Inc. from Gilles Gaudreault effective March 5th, 2019.
Markham, Ontario based OCR is a leading provider of Automated Identification Data Capture (AIDC) solutions in Canada. OCR was acquired by then Cortec Group backed Barcodes, Inc. in December 2014.
In December 2018, Odyssey Investment Partners, LLC acquired Barcodes from Cortec Group. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
