BioCan Technologies Inc. has raised $450,000 from 5 Alberta ($335K) and 1 Cayman Islands ($115K) investors.
Borden Ladner Gervais LLP acts as legal counsel to BioCan.
Calgary based BioCan Technologies provides full solution that diverts organic materials away from landfills by recovering nutrients from organic waste and recycling it. The recovered nutrients are processed into sulphur amended compost for re-application into commercial growing applications and new organic material.
Founded in 2014, BioCan is led by CEO and director Trevor Peters. Douglas Allen, Managing Director, Crux Financial Ltd., and N. Eric Fier, COO of Goldsource Mines Inc. and President & CEO of SilverCrest Metals Inc., are the two other members of BioCan board.
