Citron Hygiene LP, a portfolio company of Birch Hill Equity Partners, has acquired Hygiene Solutions Inc. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Founded by CEO Marc Clemans and his wife Tiffany, Montgomery, Illinois based Hygiene Solutions is one of the largest washroom services providers in the Midwest market. Hygiene Solutions will rebrand to Citron Hygiene and its leadership team will become an integral part of Citron Hygiene US operations.

In April 2016, Birch Hill Equity Partners acquired Citron Hygiene Canada business in partnership with Farrell. The company was rebranded Citron Hygiene.
In addition to Hygiene Solutions, Citron Hygiene has since acquired Sani-Service Inc., a Canadian national service provider of washroom hygiene and commercial warewashing systems from Serruya Private Equity Inc.; Workplace Essentials, a washroom and workplace hygiene company, headquartered in the Boston suburb of Billerica, Massachusetts; Alpine Jan-San, Alberta’s leading provider of commercial washroom hygiene services; Chemsyn Chemical Corporation, a dominant player in commercial warewash and laundry solutions.
Citron Hygiene remains highly acquisitive in both Canada and the United States in the Washroom Hygiene, Pest Control and Warewashing service platforms.
