Bridgit Inc., a Waterloo, Ontario based developer of mobile-first construction software that streamlines communication between the General Contractor and Subcontractor teams, has raised $1.33 million in additional seeding funding from 14 investors. Miller Thomson LLP acts as legal counsel to Bridgit.
Bridgit previously raised US $1.7 million from Chicago’s Hyde Park Venture Partners and Vancouver’s Vanedge Capital in April 2016, and undisclosed amount from Round 13 Capital early this year.
Interesting to note that Biridgit’s three-members board of directors is comprised of two co-founders, Mallorie Brodie and Lauren Lake, and Sam Sebastian, CEO of Pelmorex Corp and former Managing Director of Google Canada. The three venture firms have no representative on the board.
