CAI Capital Partners holds initial close for Fund VII

CAI Capital Partners has held an initial close for its 7th fund, CAI Capital Partners VII, L.P.

In December 2020, CAI Capital Partners final closed CAI Capital Partners VI at $125 million exceeding its target of $100 million with commitments from over 80 investors comprising a diverse group of institutional investors, financial institutions, family offices, fund of funds and individuals.

Export Development Canada (EDC) made a major commitments to Fund VI.

Fund VII initial closed with commitments from over 40 investors from Canada and USA.

Fund VII is led by Johansson Curtis, Tracey McVicar, Robbie Wildeman with support of Ashton Herriott.

CAI Capital Partners is a Vancouver-based private equity firm focused on partnering with and growing founder-owned businesses in the North American lower middle market with a primary focus on Canada.
