Carbon Infrastructure Partners (CIP) holds initial close for new energy fund

Carbon Infrastructure Partners (CIP) has held an initial close for its new carbon life cycle focused energy fund.

Led by Craig Golinowski and Ryan Crawford, Calgary based Carbon Infrastructure Partners, formerly JOG Capital, is a private equity firm targeting risk-adjusted returns across the carbon life cycle, from hydrocarbon-based energy production through to carbon capture utilization and storage (CCS).

CIP’s dedicated carbon capture and storage (CCS) strategy seeks to rapidly reduce global emissions, by targeting investment opportunities in companies that capture, utilize, and store CO2 in the United States and Canada. while its energy strategy is a continuation of investing in hydrocarbon-based energy resources.

Carbon Infrastructure Partners is a registered investment fund manager and exempt market dealer.
