Cision’s CNW acquires CEDROM-SNi from Transcontinental and founders

Cision, Ltd. (NYSE: CISN), through CNW Group Ltd., has acquired CEDROM-SNi Inc., a Montréal based firm specializing in digital media monitoring, from Transcontinental Inc., (TSX: TCL.A, TCL.B) and founders of CEDROM-SNi. Financial terms were not disclosed.

CEDROM-SNi was 50% owned by Transcontinental and 50% by the founders led by President, François Aird, and VP of Business Development, Mauricio Fernandez.

CEDROM, with approximately 110 employees in Montréal, Québec City, Ottawa, Toronto and Paris, offers media monitoring and analytical services through its digital solution, Eureka.cc in Canada, and its European counterpart, Europresse.com in France. CEDROM serves a varied clientele, consisting of large corporate enterprises, government agencies, media companies, and advertising and public relations agencies, among others.
