ClearBanc secures US $116M Series C led by Oak HC/FT

CPE News (4/05/2021) – ClearBanc has raised US $116 million in Series C funding led by Oak HC/FT with participation of new and existing investors.

In connection with the financing, Annie Lamont, co-founder & Managing Partner of Oak HC/FT, will join ClearBanc board of directors.

Oak HC/FT, a Greenwich, Connecticut based venture capital firm investing in early to growth stage tech-enabled companies, recently raised US $1.4 billion for its fourth fund in February 2021.

ClearBanc is an online funding company for D2C and SaaS founders to grow their business. Clearbanc said it has invested $1.6 billion into 4,000+ companies using data science to identify high-growth funding opportunities in less than 24 hours.

Founded in 2015 by Michele Romanow, Andrew D’Souza, Ivan Gritsiniak, Charlie Feng, and Tanay Delima, Clearbanc has previously raised equity funding from investors including Highland Capital, Emergence, Founder’s Fund, and Inovia Capital.
