Clearco secures bridge financing

CPE News (10.7.2022) – Clearco has closed a bridge round of financing with existing and new investors.

Founded by Michele Romanow, Andrew D’Souza, Ivan Gritsiniak, Charlie Feng, and Tanay Delima, Clearco calls itself “the world’s largest e-commerce investor providing equity free capital solutions to e-commerce businesses.”

Clearco has raised US $230 million in equity funding. It most recently closed a US $215 million Series C1-3 round of equity and debt financing led by Softbank in June 2021.

Clearco has reportedly laid off over 180 employees over the summer and terminated its international operations.

Clearco is reportedly exploring strategic options and/or new financing.
