CPE News (8/16/2021) – Conexus Venture Capital Inc. has held an initial close for its second fund, Ag tech venture capital fund (Emmertech), with capital commitments from a group of private and institutional investors.
This new ag tech venture capital fund will invest in high-growth companies that are focused on Canadian Ag-Tech, Food-Tech and agri-business innovation.
The fund will be led by a collaboration of Conexus Venture Capital, along with an investment committee of 5-8 individual investors that are leaders in Canadian agriculture, technology and finance.
Founded by Conexus Credit Union, Conexus Venture Capital launched the Conexus Venture Capital Fund in 2019 which closed at $31 million in 2020.
