Danaher acquires Aquatic Informatics from XPV Water Partners

Danaher Corporation (NYSE: DHR) has acquired Aquatic Informatics Inc. from XPV Water Partners and founder Edward Quilty. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Founded by CEO Edward Quilty, Aquatic Informatics provides software solutions that address critical water data management, analytics, and compliance challenges for the rapidly growing water industry. Headquartered in Vancouver, Aquatic Informatics also has offices in Denver, Colorado and Hobart, Tasmania in Australia.

Aquatic Informatics will join Danaher’s Water Quality platform that includes Hach, ChemTreat, OTT HyrdoMet, Pall Water, Sea-Bird Scientific, and London, Ontario based Trojan Technologies (acquired by Danaher in November 2004).

In 2017, XPV Water Partners acquired majority control of Aquatic Informatics from Renewal Funds and founder, and subsequently merged it with Watermarq Technologies which operates WaterTrax and Linko Technology.
