David Baazov disposes Amaya stake in a selloff

Montreal (pcJ New Briefs) – David Baazov has sold 12,000,000 common shares of Amaya Inc. (TSX/NASDAQ: AYA) through TSX and Chi-X Canada alternative trading system, at an average price of $22.31 per share for an aggregate amount of $267,720,000, representing approximately 8.2% of the issued and outstanding Amaya shares. The transactions occurred on March 29, 2017 and March 30, 2017.

Prior to the sale, Baazov owned 17,605,839 shares, representing approximately 12% of the issued and outstanding shares. After giving effect to this disposition, Baazov owns 5,605,839 shares, representing approximately 3.8% of the issued and outstanding shares.

Following Baazov’s selloff, Caledonia (Private) Investments Pty Limited of Sydney Australia remains the only entity directly or indirectly controls over 10% of Amaya shares, with 26,228,365 shares (18.09%)
