Desjardins Capital acquires significant stake in Digicast

CPE News (11.28.2023) – Desjardins Capital has acquired a significant stake in Digicast, a webcasting solutions provider for corporate communications and digital events.

The investment was made by Desjardins Capital PME (DCPME). Financial terms were not disclosed.

Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton acted as Digicast’s exclusive financial advisor in this transaction.

Digicast is one of the world pioneers in webcasting and the leader of the webcasting and live broadcasting industry in Canada.

Digicast was founded by Jonathan Hakim in 2005 and a few years after the foundation of the company, Jean-Louis Langevin and Nick Di Meo, two experts in event planning, joined forces with Jonathan Hakim to complete Digicast’s service offering.
