CPE Media News (3/25/2019) – USSC Group, a portfolio company of Dubin Clark & Company, Inc., has acquired Child Check-Mate Systems Inc. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Founded in 1992 by Gordon Both, Navan, Ontario based Child Check-Mate Systems developed and patented a unique alarm system which acts as an electronic reminder to drivers in order to ensure that all children have safely disembarked the vehicle upon the completion of each run.
Bradly Both has been promoted to Vice President at CCM, and with the full support of the USSC team, will oversee the manufacturing in Navan/Ottawa.
In 2015, Dubin Clark & Company, a Boston based private equity firm, with the support of Midwest Mezzanine Funds, acquired United States Seating Company (USSC), an Exton, Pennsylvania based manufacturer of innovative safety and survivability solutions for extreme-duty, niche transportation markets.
Child Check-Mate Systems is USSC second add-on acquisition.

USSC Group Acquires Canadian School Bus Safety and Technology Company
