EBC secures $30M growth financing from Fonds de solidarité and Investissement Québec.

CPE News (8/18/2020) – EBC Inc. has raised $30 million in growth funding from Fonds de solidarité FTQ and Investissement Québec (IQ). Each invested $15 million to support the company’s growth plan.

EBC is active in the building, mining and civil engineering sectors. The company applies the most stringent safety standards, promotes human values and focuses on customer satisfaction. EBC is the second-largest general contractor in Québec and among the top 10 players in the Canadian construction industry. Headquartered in L’Ancienne-Lorette, EBC has 2,800 employees and 7 offices in other cities across the country. Last year, the company surpassed the $1 billion mark in sales.

EBC is a family business founded in 1968 by Fernand Houle and brother Germain and now led by President & CEO Marie-Claude Houle.

FONDS DE SOLIDARITÉ FTQ AND INVESTISSEMENT QUÉBEC INVEST $30 MILLION IN EBC’S GROWTH

EBC, a flagship of the Québec construction industry, can now rely on two new financial partners: Fonds de solidarité FTQ and Investissement Québec. Each has invested $15 million to support the company’s growth plan.
