McKenna joins Fengate from Minto, where she has worked since 2008 and, most recently, held the roles of Chief Investment Officer of Minto Apartment REIT and SVP Investments for Minto Capital. Prior to Minto, McKenna was with Bell Canada most recently as Director of Finance.
McKenna, CPA, CBV, holds a BBA degree with honours from Trent University.

Fengate welcomes Jaime McKenna as Managing Director and Group Head, Real Estate
TORONTO, Aug. 26, 2019 /CNW/ – Fengate Asset Management (Fengate) is pleased to announce Jaime McKenna has joined the firm as Managing Director and Group Head, Real Estate, effective today. Dividing her time between Fengate’s Toronto and Oakville offices, Jaime leads and is responsible for the firm’s real estate business and is a member of the Executive team.
Bringing 20 years of professional business experience, Jaime joins Fengate from Minto, where she has worked since 2008 and, most recently, held the role of Chief Investment Officer of Minto Apartment REIT. As part of the Minto executive team, Jaime led more than $1 billion of investment transactions as well as an ERP implementation, organizational realignment and change management across the company. She served as a member of multiple investment committees overseeing Minto’s private institutional investments. Most recently, Jaime was part of the executive team that led the initial public offering of Minto Apartment REIT as well as the follow-on equity offering in April 2019.
Prior to Minto, Jaime was Director of Finance for Bell Canada where she specialized in financial reporting, mergers and acquisitions and led the financial integration of newly acquired ICT (information and communication technology) companies.
