Fonds de solidarité appoints Christian G. Brosseau VP, Investment, Strategic Capital, Energy and Environment

CPE News (10/19/2020) – Fonds de solidarité FTQ has officially announced the appointment of Christian G. Brosseau as Vice-President, Investment, Strategic Capital, Energy and Environment.

Brosseau joined Fonds de solidarité in August 2020 and has previously held positions of Executive Project Director at Solargise Canada and VP of Innovation Group at Cofomo

Fonds de solidarité FTQ created Strategic Capital tea last year to launch projects aimed at building a stronger and more resilient green economy.

Since joining Fonds de solidarité, Brosseau has been involved in the launch of GNR Québec Capital L.P., a partnership between Xebec Adsorption Inc. (TSX-V: XBC) and Fonds de solidarité.

Fonds de solidarité FTQ Announces the Appointment of Christian G. Brosseau as Vice-President, Investment, Strategic Capital, Energy and Environment

Montréal, October 19, 2020 – Janie Béïque, Executive Vice-President, Investment, at the Fonds de solidarité FTQ, is pleased to announce the appointment of Christian G. Brosseau as Vice-President, Investment, Strategic Capital, Energy and Environment.

Holder of a bachelor’s degree in economics from Université de Montréal and a Bachelor of Business Administration from HEC Montréal, Christian began his career at PWC. He then spent 10 years at Hydro-Québec, where he carried out major projects and was responsible for the marketing activities and energy trading floor of Hydro-Québec Production. He subsequently held various management positions at CGI, Solargise Canada and Cofomo.

“Christian is known as a visionary leader who can anticipate new trends. He focuses on long-term results. He’s there for his employees and encourages creativity, autonomy and calculated risk taking. I am thrilled to welcome him to the Fonds and wish him the utmost success. We’re proud to have someone like Christian to head the Strategic Capital team, created last year to launch projects aimed at building a stronger and more resilient green economy,” said Janie Béïque.
