Founded in 2004 by Chris van Dyck, North Vancouver, BC based CVD VFX is an award-winning, full service visual effects studio. Focusing on compositing and industry leading stylization, CVD VFX is recognized for consistently and professionally delivering the highest quality in VFX.

Crafty Apes Acquires Vancouver-Based CVD VFX
LOS ANGELES, Feb. 4, 2020 — Crafty Apes, a full-service visual effects company with studios in Atlanta, Los Angeles and New York, is pleased to announce that it has acquired CVD VFX, an award-winning, full-service visual effects studio based in Vancouver, British Columbia. CVD, founded in 2014 by Chris van Dyck, specializes in CG and compositing, game cinematics, concept and design services for film, network episodic and streaming content producers.
“Known for their high-quality work on titles like Stranger Things and Westworld, we think CVD is the ideal complement to Crafty Apes.
