GI Partners’ Togetherwork acquires UnionWare

Togetherwork, a portfolio company of GI Partners, has acquired UnionWare. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Winnipeg, Manitoba based UnionWare offers a comprehensive suite of membership management software to unions in Canada, the United States, and Australia. UnionWare’s clients represent over 3.5 million union members.

Founded by Jim Perchaluk and daily operation run by COO Scott Hanslip, UnionWare has approximately 50 employees, most of them unionized.

New York City based Togetherwork is a leader in software and payments for groups and organizations of all kinds, helping them grow, become more efficient, increase revenues, and provide excellent service to their members and constituents.

GI Partners acquired Togetherwork from Aquiline Capital Partners in March 2018.
