GradeSlam secures new financing

CPE Media News (2/12/2019) – GradeSlam has raised undisclosed amount in a new round of financing with participation from the Google Assistant Investment Program, Birchmere Ventures, BDC Capital, Reach Capital, and Anges Quebec.

GradeSlam will use the financing to build support for voice platforms, expanding its product reach to service a broader range of students.

Founded by CEO Phil Cutler and CTO Roberto Cipriani, GradeSlam provides students with unlimited one-to-one online tutoring for any subject, at any time. As all of the tutoring sessions are recorded and analyzed, GradeSlam equips teachers with a formal record of their student’s learning outside of the classroom, completing the learning feedback loop. GradeSlam is currently working with over 150 schools, districts and organizations.

In July 2016, GradeSlam secured $1.6 million financing led by Birchmere Ventures with participation of BDC Capital, Anges Quebec, Real Ventures, private investotrs inlcuding Brian Karol and Robert Luxenberg.

GradeSlam Secures Funding From the Google Assistant Investment Program to Advance Education Through Voice Assistance
