Graphite Ventures has held an additional close, likely the final close, for Graphite IAF IV, bringing total committed capital to $100 million target.
One Alberta investor, likely Alberta Enterprise Corporation (AEC), committed $10 million in latest closing.
Launched in 2021, Graphite IAF held a $77 million initial close early 2022, securing $25 million each from OMERS and MaRS Investment Accelerator Fund (AIF), $27 million from IAF backed entrepreneur investors.
Led by General Partners (GPs), Aaron Bast, Lance Laking and Craig Leonard, Graphite Ventures is a “Seeding for Scale” venture firm, “investing at the earliest stages, and setting trajectories to accelerate growth.”
