Harbour Group’s Marshall Excelsior Company acquires BASE Engineering

pcJ News Briefs – Harbour Group has closed an add-on acquisition to recently acquired Marshall Excelsior Company, buying St. John, New Brunswick based BASE Engineering Inc. Financial terms were not disclosed.

BASE founder, Steve Belyea will continue in his current role as BASE CEO and president.

Harbour Group acquired Marshall Excelsior in March 2017.

Marshall Excelsior Acquires BASE Engineering

ST. LOUIS, Sept. 20, 2017 /PRNewswire/ — Marshall Excelsior Company (“MEC”), a Harbour Group company, has acquired BASE Engineering, Inc., Jeff Fox, Harbour Group’s chairman and chief executive, announced today. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Since its founding in 1996, BASE has designed and manufactured high-quality remote, automated emergency shutdown and operational controls for the liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and refined fuels industries. The company is dedicated to the highest levels of service and to providing better solutions to the challenges its customers face through continuous product innovation. BASE was founded by Steve Belyea, its CEO, and is based in St. John, New Brunswick, Canada. The company sells its products in North America, Europe and Australia.
