HCI Equity Partners’ Summit Interconnect acquires ITL Circuits

CPE News (7/31/2020) – Summit Interconnect, Inc., a portfolio company of HCI Equity Partners, has acquired Integrated Technology Ltd., dba ITL Circuits, from owners Adolf Czudnochowsky and Michael Campbell. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Established in 1971, Markham, Ontario based ITL Circuits is one of North America’s leading providers of printed circuit board fabrication services. ITL Circuits is the oldest and largest privately-held PCB manufacturer in Canada. It serves both original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and electronic manufacturing service (EMS) companies, with prototype and production-volume requirements, around the world. ITL Circuits has over 65,000 square feet of factory space and approximately 130 employees.

Anaheim, California based Summit Interconnect is a leading manufacturer of advanced technology printed circuit boards. Manufacturing services include quick turn, prototype and production through our advanced technology facilities located in California and now Toronto, Canada.

In April 2016, HCI Equity Partners, a lower mid-market private equity firm based in Washington, DC, formed Summit Interconnect from the acquisition of KCA Electronics in Anaheim, and Marcel Electronics International (MEI) located in Orange, California.

ITL Circuits is also a long time supplier to the United States DOD prime contractors under U.S. ITAR 126.5 under the Canadian Controlled Goods (CGP) exemption.
