inBay Technologies closes $1M 2nd tranche of pre-Series A

inBay Technologies has raised additional $1 million in the second tranche of its pre-Series A funding led by Tokyo based Global Alliance Inc., an early investor in PayPal and Fortinet.

inBay Technologies announced closing of $1 million plus financing in September 2017 from European-based Ramphastos Investments, co-leading with an Ottawa-based super angel represented by Tongda One Partners Ltd.

Ottawa based inBay Technologies is a developer of ‘passwordless’ authentication solutions. The company’s idQ® Trust as a Service (TaaS) is a unique and innovative SaaS that eliminates the need for user names and passwords.

Cybersecurity firm exceeds funding target through a key investment by Global Alliance Inc. – early investors in PayPal and Fortinet – to drive its go-to-market strategy to the Japanese market

February 14, 2018, Ottawa, Canada – inBay Technologies, developers of ‘passwordless’ authentication solutions, today announced the company has secured additional $1 million of financing led by Global Alliance Inc. of Tokyo, Japan, in the second tranche of its pre-series A raise.
