InstarAGF launches Essential Infrastructure Fund II

InstarAGF Asset Management Inc. has launched fundraising for its second infrastructure fund, InstarAGF Essential Infrastructure Fund II.

InstarAGF has yet to make an announcement about its new fund.

InstarAGF is an independent asset management firm focused on middle-market alternative North American infrastructure investments.

Formed in 2014, InstarAGF is a joint venture of Instar Group Inc., a company owned by Gregory J. Smith, and AGF Management Limited (TSX: AGF.B).

InstarAGF’s inaugural fund is a CDN $812 million 2015-vintage fund. Its portfolio includes Steel Reef, Creative Energy, Okanagan Wind, MI Infrastructure, AMPORTS, Skyservice, and Nieuport Aviation (exited).
