k-eCommerce secures $2.3M growth capital funding led by BDC Capital

CPE Media News (1/22/2019) – k-eCommerce, a provider of cloud-based e-commerce solutions wholly integrated into certain ERP systems, has raised $2.3 million in growth capital funding from BDC Capital’s Growth and Transition Capital and Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED).

Led by CEO Laurent Allardin, Laval, Quebec and Northville, Michigan based k-eCommerce delivers a cloud-based e-commerce solution for B2B and B2C fully integrated with the Microsoft Dynamics™ suite and SAP Business One.

k-eCommerce intends to use new funding in research and product development, increased sales and marketing efforts, and the acquisition of new equipment and infrastructural improvements for both the Canadian and U.S. locations.

k-eCommerce closes a $2.3 million funding round to accelerate growth and further market development

January 18, 2019, Laval, Quebec, Canada – k-eCommerce, provider of cloud-based e-commerce solutions wholly integrated into certain ERP systems, announced that the company has closed a financing round of 2.3 million dollars by BDC Capital and Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED).

k-eCommerce, which has locations in both Canada and the United States, plans to invest this funding in research and product development, increased sales and marketing efforts, and the acquisition of new equipment and infrastructural improvements for both the Canadian and U.S. locations.

“k-eCommerce has been helping companies make the transition to e-commerce for nearly 20 years,” said k-eCommerce CEO Laurent Allardin. “We offer a complete e-commerce platform supporting both business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) models which are fully integrated with Microsoft Dynamics and SAP Business One, along with all the training and support needed to launch and run a profitable online channel. This investment will help us accelerate the next generation of our products and services.”

In December, the company released k-eCommerce Payment Portal, a payment solution for businesses who want to give their customers a way to pay invoices online. Earlier this month, k-eCommerce for Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations became available on Microsoft AppSource.
