KitchenMate secures US $3.5M seed financing led by Eniac Ventures

CPE News (8/31/2020) – KitchenMate has reportedly closed a US $3.5 million seed financing led by Eniac Ventures with participation of Golden Ventures, FJ Labs and Techstars. The company has previously closed a seed round of financing in July 2018.

Founded by Aditya Bali, Anthony Marino, Yang Yu, Toronto based KitchenMate is an automated restaurant for workplace. Powered by its plug-&-play Smart Cooking System, the company offers chef-created and dietitian-approved meals at affordable prices. “We’re on a mission to Fix Food for Good. We believe everyone should be equipped to access, share, and enjoy high-quality meals easily. We are dedicated to making tasty, truly nutritious, and affordable fresh food that fits into people’s increasingly fast-paced lives.”

Eniac Ventures’ Nihal Mehta has joined KitchenMate board along with founders Bali and Yu.
