Klass Capital Corporation has launched 2nd growth equity fund with initial close in January 2021.

The new fund is anchored by an unnamed large U.S. institutional investor and with high net worth individual LPs from Canada and Italy.

Founded and led by Daniel Klasss, Klass Capital is a long term-oriented private equity firm that invests in enterprise software businesses with great growth potential. It makes equity investments of $10-100M in SaaS businesses and are open to minority or control ownership.

The initial close is following the exceptional performance of its investment in Docebo Inc. (TSX/NASDAQ: DCBO).

In November 2015, Klass Capital in partnership with management completed a recap of Docebo and acquired controlling interest. Klass Capital continues to hold a minority stake in Docebo following a new control investment in Docebo by Intercap Equity in 2016.

Klass continues to hold 3,194,383 Docebo shares, currently worth approximately $222 million based on the closing price of $69.42 on February 4, 2021 on TSX.
