Manulife Capital backed Dye & Durham acquires Cyberbahn, Marque d’or and Index PI

Dye & Durham Corporation, a portfolio company of Manulife Capital, has acquired assets of Cyberbahn and Marque d’or from Thomson Reuters Canada Limited, and Index Property Information Limited (Index PI). Financial terms were not disclosed.

Cyberbahn and Marque d’or specialize in corporate search and registration and litigation support services. Index Property Information Ltd. is a technology-enabled real estate search company based in Colchester, Essex, the United Kingdom.

These acquisitions continue to add to Dye & Durham’s growing portfolio of legal technology services focused on the Canadian and UK markets. Dye & Durham said the additions of Cyberbahn, Marque d’or and Index PI supercharge its already strong organic growth and fits well with its acquisition strategy.

Led and majority controlled by CEO Matt Proud and Chairman Tyler Proud, Dye & Durham is a leading developer of software and technology solutions designed to maximize efficiency and increase productivity for legal and business professionals.

In April 2018, Manulife Capital acquired a minority stake in the Dye & Durham.

In October 2018, Dye & Durham filed a preliminary prospectus in connection with a proposed $125 million initial public offering (IPO) and secondary offering. The company has yet to formally withdraw the offering.

Dye & Durham makes two acquisitions in the legal technology industry
