CPE News (4/1/2021) – Chair-man Mills Corp., a portfolio company of McCain Capital Partners, has acquired Contemporary Furniture Rentals Inc. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Contemporary Furniture Rentals Inc. is the first and largest specialty furniture rental company in the Greater Toronto Area. Contemporary’s founder Peter Somers, along with the rest of the Contemporary sales team, will join Chair-man Mills.
Founded in 1911, Chair-man Mills is the largest event rental company in Canada.
In March 2019, McCain Capital Partners, in partnership with management, acquired Chair-man Mills from Granite Partners.
