Mombak has launched two Ontario domiciled feeder funds, Amazon Reforestation Investment Fund Feeder I, L.P. and Amazon Reforestation Investment Fund Feeder II, L.P.
Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP is acting as legal counsel to the feeder funds.
The feeder funds will be managed by a Cayman Islands based affiliate of Mombak.
Led by founders, CEO Peter Fernandez and CFO Gabriel Silva, São Paulo, Brazil based Mombak is working to become the world’s largest carbon removal company, starting by reforesting the Amazon.
