NERv Technology secures $1M pre-seed financing

CPE Media News (10/17/2019) – NERv Technology Inc. has raised $1 million in pre-seed funding from a number of physician angel investors, an unnamed hospital and Sunhope Capital VC, a Cayman Islands registered VC fund with offices in Hong Kong, Shenzhen and San Jose, California.

Founded and led by Abdallah ElFalou, Youssef Helwa, Amr Abdelgawad and Mohamed Okasha, Kitchener, Ontario based NERv is developing an implantable biochip capable of detecting post-operative complications.

The new funds will be used to help cover the cost assisted with preclinical studies and for the further advancement of the company’s flagship post-operative sensory platform products.
