Launched in 2022 and with a target fund size of US $15 million, Northside Ventures held an initial close in September 2023 with US $6.25 million commitments from Inovia Capital, Intact Ventures, BCV, Golden Ventures, FJ Labs, Bling Capital, Coolwater Capital, Garage Capital and others.
Led by General Partner, Alex McIsaac, Northside Ventures I invests at the pre-seed and seed stage and participates in the company’s first round of external capital, with initial investments between $100,000 and $500,000.
