NOVACAP invests in Kingsdown Canada/Owen & Company

NOVACAP has acquired a stake in Owen & Company Limited, dba Kingsdown Canada, a leading mattress manufacturer. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Vaughan, Ontario based Owen & Company was founded in 1995 by Hugh Owen, daughter Natlie, son-in-law Michael James, and Cindy Anisman.

Kingsdown Canada manufactures and sells luxury hand-crafted mattresses to national furniture retailers, department stores, independent specialty businesses and hotel chains throughout North America.

Kingsdown Canada operates out of three manufacturing facilities strategically located across Canada in Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver. Kingsdown Canada manufactures both branded and private label products, all of which are made in Canada.
