Oatey Co. has acquired Newmarket, Ontario based G.F. Thompson Company Limited. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Founded in 1947, G.F. Thompson is a leading manufacturer and distributor of products serving the plumbing and HVAC markets in Canada.
Since 1916, Cleveland, Ohio based Oatey has provided reliable, high-quality products for the residential and commercial plumbing industries. Oatey operates a comprehensive manufacturing and distribution network to supply more than 6,000 products for professional builders, contractors, engineers and do-it-yourself consumers around the world.
Oatey has offices in the United States, Canada and Mexico, as well as a manufacturing facility in China. Oatey established Oatey Canada in 1992.
