Phoenix Partners acquires Groupe BBH

CPE News (10/13/2020) – Phoenix Partners with support of Fonds régionaux de solidarité FTQ Montréal has acquired Groupe BBH inc. The investment was made in partnership with BBH President Claude Lampron. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Phoenix Partners’ François Fauteux, David le Houx, and Patrick Foley, and Fonds régionaux FTQ’s Emmanuelle Héroux, have jopined Groupe BBH board of directors.

Dentons Canada LLP acted as legal counsel to Pheonix Partners in connection with the acquisition.

Founded in 2007 with the merger of Barry & Boulerice and LNS Horizon, Groupe BBH is a maker of personal and industrial protective equipment with brands including Barry & Boulerice, Horizon, Workstuff, TERRA Hi-vis, Dickies, Holmes Workwearm Gardena and Roots.

Established in 2012, Phoenix Partners is a private equity group that is focused on acquiring controlling interests in traditional businesses in the lower to mid markets.
