Quad-C acquires S.i. Systems

Quad-C Management, Inc. has acquired S.i. Systems, a Calgary based IT staffing company. Financial terms were not disclosed.

S.i. Systems’ founder, Derek Bullen, will retain a significant ownership position and continue to lead S.i. Systems as CEO.

With 14 offices in Canada, S.i. Systems is the largest Canadian IT staffing company. S.i. Systems’ MatchGuide, a proprietary web-based match-making solution, provides precision contract, and permanent placements for IT professionals across Canada.

Charlottesville, Virginia based Quad-C is a middle market private equity firm focused on investing in well-established business services, consumer, general industrial, healthcare, specialty distribution and transportation/logistics companies.

Quad-C is currently investing its ninth fund, Quad-C Partners IX, L.P., a US $1.1 billion 2016 vintage fund.

Quad-C Announces Investment in S.i. Systems

Charlottesville, VA. December 20, 2018 – Quad-C Management, Inc. (“Quad-C”), a leading middle market private equity firm, announced today it has closed an investment in S.i. Systems, a leading IT staffing company in Canada.

Founded in 1994, S.i. Systems is the largest IT staffing company headquartered in Canada. The company’s founder and CEO, Derek Bullen, maintains a significant ownership position and continues to lead S.i. Systems as CEO following the Quad-C investment.
