CPE News (11/2/2020) – Jardine Transport Group, a portfolio company of SeaFort Capital Inc., has acquired Quality Transportation Services from Stuart Palmer. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Established in 1998, Jacksonville, New Brunswick based Quality is a long-haul, dry-van trucking company with a fleet of more than forty power units servicing customers in Canada and the United States.
With the addition of Quality, Jardine Transport Group will further expand its geographic coverage and create opportunities to better serve its customers.
Jardine Transport Group is a leading Atlantic Canadian truckload carrier, servicing a broad customer base in Atlantic Canada, Ontario, Quebec, Western Canada and the United States.
In April 2015, SeaFort Capital acquired Jardine Transport Ltd. from Robert Leonard.
Quality Transportation Services is the third add-on acquisition, following the acquisition of R.E.M Transport Ltd. from Graydon Murphy and Mike Bishop in 2017, and the acquisition of Gil Trucking from owner Danny Soucy in 2019.

Jardine Transport Group Acquires Quality Transportation Services
DARTMOUTH, NS, Nov. 2, 2020 /CNW/ – Jardine Transport Group announced today that is has acquired Quality Transportation Services (“Quality”), a long-haul, dry-van trucking company based in Jacksonville, New Brunswick. Quality was established in 1998 and currently operates a fleet of more than forty power units servicing customers in Canada and the United States. With the addition of Quality, Jardine Transport Group will further expand its geographic coverage and create opportunities to better serve its customers.
