Sterling Partners promoted SP Strategic Acquisition files for $500K CPC IPO

CPE Mews Brief (9.23.2022) – SP Strategic Acquisition Corp., a capital pool company (CPC), has filed a preliminary prospectus for an initial public offering of 5,000,000 common shares at $0.10 per share for gross proceeds of $500,000.

Eight Capital acts as the agent for the offering a commercially reasonable efforts. Cassels Brock & Blackwell LLP is acting as legal counsel for SP while Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP is acting on behalf of the agent.

SP Strategic Acquisition Corp., a newly formed Ontario company, is promoted by Sterling Partners.

Founded in 1983, Chicago based Sterling Partners is a multi-strategy asset management firm, including middle-market and early-stage private equity investing.

Jeff Elburn, CFO of Sterling Fund Management, LLC, and Avi Epstein, COO, General Counsel and Managing Director at Sterling Partners, will act as CFO and COO and directors respectively for SP Strategic Acquisition Corp. Brian Kabot, a contractor to Sterling Fund Management and one of four 19.61% shareholders, will act as CEO of SP Strategic Acquisition.
