TELUS Corporation (TSX: T; NYSE: TU) has acquired Decisive Farming Corporation. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Founded by Remi Schmaltz, Tasha Schmaltz and Garth Donald, Irricana, Alberta based Decisive Farming is a company dedicated to increasing farmers’ profitability, sustainability, and technology ease-of-use by providing a single integrated platform that is the farm’s primary operating system.
Decisive Farming was backed by McRock Capital, Export Development Canada (EDC), and Accelerate Fund, having raised over $11 million from the backers in two rounds of finacings.
