Trexo Robotics Inc. has secured US $120,000 in seed financing, by way of convertible debentures, from two US investors. The financing closed in June 2017.

Mississauga, Ontario based Trexo Robotics is building the first ever exoskeleton device to help children with disabilities learn to walk. The exoskeleton can strap to a child’s legs and assist in the child’s movement and rehabilitation. The robotic legs are designed to be attached to any walker device that the child may already have, converting the passive walker into a fully robotic mobility device.

Trexo Robotics was co-founded by CEO Manmeet Maggu and CTO Rahul Udas in July 2016.
