White Star Capital holds US $60M initial close for Digital Assets II fund

White Star Capital has reportedly raised US $60 million in an initial close for its second digital assets fund, WSC Digital Assets II Limited Partnership (WSC DA II).

Limited Partner (LP) investors include anchor investor, Ubisoft, and family offices and wealthy individuals.

White Star’s Digital Asset funds are the firm’s dedicated strategy for investing in “crypto networks and blockchain-enabled companies at each layer of the tech stack.”

WSC Digital Assets I fund is a 2020-vintage fund with US $50 million in total capital commitments with investment from Ubisoft and other LPs.

WSC Digital Assets II is led by General Parters (GPs), Eric Martineau-Fortin, Jean-François Marcoux and Sep Alavi from its Guernsey/London, Montreal and New York offices.
