CPE News – pcJournal (10/10/2018) – Williams Lea Limited, dba Williams Lea Tag (WLT), a portfolio company of Advent International, has acquired THP from founder Amanda Riva. Financial terms were not disclosed. Petsky Prunier served as the exclusive financial advisor to THP.
Formerly known as The Hot Plate, THP is a leading provider of content and social media services for brand managers and marketers. Its 100% On Demand model makes creating high quality content and social media strategies easy and affordable.
London, UK based Williams Lea Tag is a leading provider of marketing and communication services. Advent International acquired Williams Lea Tag from Deutsche Post DHL Group in November 2017.
THP acquisition is WLT’s second under Advent’s ownership. In September it acquired Taylor James.

Williams Lea Tag acquires THP to add on-demand digital and social media content capabilities and boost evolution of global omni-channel proposition

The WLT acquisition of THP is the second to be made under Advent International’s ownership, following quickly on from the news announced last month that WLT has also acquired digital production house, Taylor James.
