Apollo’s Intrado acquires venture backed Permission Click

CPE News (1.05.2022) – Intrado Corporation, a portfolio company of Apollo Global Management, Inc. (NYSE: APO), has acquired Winnipeg, Manitoba based Permission Click, a pioneer in education technology.

With this acquisition, Intrado Life & Safety expands its leadership position in K-12 education technology, adding Permission Click’s digital workflow solutions to its SchoolMessenger communications suite of solutions.

Permission Click’s executive team and employees will join Intrado Life & Safety to support clients and drive continued technology development and product innovation.

Founded by Chris Johnson, Scott Macaulay and Kevin Buckner, Permission Click had been backed by Friesens Corp., Real Ventures, an unnamed “international strategic investor”, and others.

Intrado Corporation, formerly West Corporation, is a global leader in technology-enabled services. Apollo acquired West in October 2017 and re-branded it as Introdo in June 2019.
